PAIRING MATelec AUSTRALIA SMOKE ALARMS

Notes:

  • A combination of wired and wireless units can be used in a single install.
  • If pairing FSA-60000s and FSA-30000s with no remote, ensure the FSA-60000 is the master as it is hard wired.
  • If using an FSA-90000, ensure you treat this as the master

WITH AN FSA-90000 (REMOTE)

The remote should always be used as the master.

  1. Ensure all alarms to be paired are within 2m of the remote.
  2. Press the NET button on the remote so a red-light illuminates. (Will remain in this setting for 30 seconds).
  3. Pair the first smoke alarm by pressing the centre/test button 3 times.
  4. The red light on the remote will flicker briefly when each unit is connected.
    • FSA-30000 pairing units will illuminate green.
    • FSA-60000 will emit a single chirp.
  5. Repeat the above steps for remaining units (One at a time, within 30 seconds between pairings).
